Gjøa

Gjøa ( Pronounced "Joe" ) was the first vessel to safely transit the Northwest Passage. The voyage started on June 16, 1903 from Oslofjord and was completed 3 years later when Roald Amundsen and his crew made port in San Francisco, California on October 19, 1906.
