Lounge (Passenger)

A passenger lounge is a space used for the entertainment of passengers, akin to a night club on land. Traditionally, they were reserved for sitting (lounging) and conversation, but modern lounges are often multi-purpose rooms - capable of handling conferences, meetings, lectures, discussions, concerts, stage music, etc. Lounges are generally high-traffic areas, commonly placed along the vessels centreline with passenger corridors outboard to either side, on the public decks.
