The Maritime Research Institute Netherlands (MARIN) is a model basin located in Wageningen, GE, Netherlands. Notably, testing for the B-series of propeller was conducted here in 1937.

History

Founded in 1929 as the Nederlands Schip Model Basin (NSMB), the facility opened in 1932. It was greatly expanded throughout the 1950's and 60's. More recently, in-house bridge and traffic simulators have been installed.
