Northwest Passage

The Northwest Passage is a collection of Arctic ocean seaway routes which pass through the Canadian Arctic islands, connecting the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. The northern latitudes, combined with the relatively narrow transits between islands, produce particularly arduous ice conditions.
