The SS Caribou

The SS Caribou was a Dominion Transportation Company vessel which ran from Owen Sound to Sault Ste Marie. In 1936, when Dominion Transportion merged with the Owen Sound Transportation Company, the SS Caribou took over the South Baymouth route. In 1941, she took over the 'Turkey Trail' run from the SS Manitou where she served with the MS Normac until her eventual retirement in 1946. She was replaced by the SS Norlise.
